FAQ's for Landlords

When will I receive my rent and get a statement?

Once the tenant moves into the property the funds will be transferred via BACS payment and will be with you within 3 working days. The statement of funds will be sent once the funds have been transferred to you. For our managed and rent collection service the statement will be sent to your email automatically on the 1st of every month.

What are Alliance London’s fees for letting a property?

Alliance London have a variety of levels to our services that suit the needs of all landlords. Please call your local agent to discuss

Who will deal with the deposit dispute if there is one?

With our Managed services our ARLA certified property manager will help you propose deduction and file the dispute on your behalf.

Can you check my property during a tenancy?

One mid term inspection is included in our Managed service and two inspections is included in our Premium managed Service. There will be additional cost if this is not included in your service.

How much is the deposit?

The maximum security deposit will be equivalent to 5 weeks rent. If the rent is in Excess of the the maximum security

When will we receive the inventory and check in?

Usually two working days after the tenant has moved in

Is the gas safety check included?

No this is not included, but we can arrange this for you

Do you arrange the inventory?

Yes, the tenants will check in and the inventory and check in is paid on your behalf.

Who pays for the check out?

It is the tenant’s responsibility to pay for the check out

What do we do about utilities?

Contact all and advise you are moving, but do not have anything disconnected, your new tenants are responsible for setting up the bills when they take possession. If agreed, we will notify the utility providers of your new tenants
